A settlement has been reached with The Cannon Corporation, Inc. ("Cannon" or "Defendant") in a class action lawsuit. This class action lawsuit is about the targeted cyberattack on Cannon's computer systems that occurred in January 2023 (the "Data Incident"). Certain files that contained private information were accessed. These files may have contained personal employee information such as names, dates of birth, contact information, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, state identification numbers, and passport numbers.
The lawsuit is captioned Misso v. The Cannon Corporation, Case No. Case No. 6:24-cv-06525, pending in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, Rochester Division (the "Litigation").
Cannon denies that it did anything wrong, and the Court has not decided who is right.
The parties have agreed to settle the lawsuit (the "Settlement") to avoid the costs and risks, disruptions, and uncertainties of continuing the litigation.
Cannon's records indicate that you are a Class Member, and entitled to benefits under the Settlement. You may have received a previous notice directly from Cannon.
Your rights are affected whether you act or don't act. Please read this website and the Notice carefully and completely.
